- Paul Farchakh was born in1958 in the republic of Venezuela, South America.
- He comes to Lebanon with his parents returning to their hometown of Zgharta – North Lebanon in 1961.
- He completed all his school studies at the Saint Joseph College Of Aintoura – Keserouan.
- He departed to California in the U.S.A. in 1979 where he pursued studies at the Columbia College of Los Angeles in Liberal Arts and a specialization in cinematography.
- Soon after returning to Lebanon in 1984, he resumed a painting career which was already initiated by a minor exhibition at the Larchmont Gallery in Los Angeles in 1983.
- He definitely embraced painting as a career following his first major exhibition which took place in his hometown of Ehden in 1985.
- He began teaching cinematography at the Saint Joseph University of Beyrouth (USJ) with the immergence of the Institute of theatre and Audio-Visual Studies (IESAV) in 1988.
